When I decided to invest in an iPad Pro, I tried a non-Apple pencil, which worked decently, but I saw how much people liked the real thing, so I splurged. So much easier to use! No separate charging needed, more responsive, and better control. Worth the extra!

Perfect for the i pad air. I almost got the c port one but I am glad I didn’t. The pressure sensitivity is amazing.

I had to exchange the first one I received due to sync/latency issues. 2nd pencil worked like a charm with no latency or sync issues.

After owning this pencil for a little less than 2 years, I would say it's definitely a great purchase as far as drawing on your iPad. Beware not to let it sit too long without charging (I'm talking weeks) as I believe that is what ultimately killed the battery in mine, which after talking to Apple tech, there seems to be no solution apart from getting it repaired or buying a new one... so get Apple care for it. Would definitely buy it again regardless.

I bought this as an "excellent" open-box item for my iPad Pro. It works as expected - magnetic charging, double-tap, writing is accurate. With that, it's still an Apple Pencil and is a too smooth for writing on the iPad's screen, which is why I'm giving it four stars. Fortunately, I purchased extra tips for my 1st gen Pencil, which uses the same tips.

Works well with my iPad. Was Easy to connect. I like that it charges quickly. Charge last as long as I need it.

Other than Price, everything is good. I was trying to buy 1st gen pencil, but this one doesn’t have to charge separately and it is the best part of this product.

Absolutely necessary for the IPad Pro. It would be nice if it came with the iPad but that isn’t particular to Apple as you have to buy a pen for the surface pro too. I gave it a 5 for value because I got it on sale. If I have to pay full price I might have evaluated it a little less.
