It is awesome. I loved the first generation but this one is even better. Lighter and smaller. Easier to write. I absolutely love not having to worry about charging it because as soon as you stick in the ipad with it’s case , it charges.

I had the Gen. 1 pencil before and the Gen. 2 pencil is such an upgrade! Being able to charge magnetically it feels so nice in the hand and writing with it feels really nice!

Easy to access and super easy to charge makes this pen super practical and productive. Thanks it was not easy to access and charge it would have ended up in a drawer somewhere. But it’s not true about this pen. Outstanding design. Would buy again.

Works great with tbe iPad. Zero problems with holding a charge. Charges through the iPad which is nice. Recommend for those that use the ipad for school or notes.

The Apple Pencil does exactly what it's supposed to do, and does it well. It's incredibly responsive and fine control is great. I also appreciate the new charging method compared to the first gen Apple Pencil. If you're deciding between the two and have an iPad that supports Gen 2, it's definitely worth getting the newer Pencil. Only real ding against it is the price. When some 2-in-1 PCs include a stylus for around the total price of an iPad Pro, it kind of sucks needing to fork over an additional $130 for this thing.

The pen writes really smooth with minimal lag as you draw as well. I love the feel and design of it over others due to having a better grip as i use it. The battery life is also amazing and would suggest you pick this gem up

Thought I could get away with using a non Apple Pencil for my iPad because they’re so expensive and I tried and hated it. I love the Apple Pencil. Magnetically attaches to the iPad and charges that way as well. I use it to take notes in pharmacy school and I love it! Expensive purchase but it’s the best.

The Apple Pencil works seamlessly with no problems. There is is no configurations to mess with. To use it works right out of the box. It magnetizes right to the top of the screen and charges great. Not much for instructions to tell you about how to use it.

This pencil is a lifesaver for note taking during meetings. I absolutely love that it changes my writing to typed text. It sticks to the top of my ipad pro by a magnet and never falls off, it also charges by the magnet. Very convenient and keeps my screen clean with less fingerprints.

There’s not much to say other than that it’s the Apple Pencil, it works very well. I love the tilt feature and the pressue sensitivity feature. i’m not an artist, but I use it for multitasking. It’s excellent for taking notes quickly on the go and marking up documents. When you go to make your next iPad purchase, I would just go ahead and pick up an Apple Pencil and if you purchase AppleCare at the same time, AppleCare will cover it if it stops working or it gets damaged. Definitely recommend. 

For someone who plans on using an iPad for note-taking and/or drawing, there’s simply no better alternative stylus for the iPad than the Apple Pencil. Highly recommend the 2nd generation over the 1st due its extremely convenient magnetic attachment & charging.

I bought this to use with my new iPad Pro. Set up was a bit complicated, but didn’t take too long. I use it to make quick notes and mark up documents. It works great and is always charged as the pencil attaches to the iPad via magnet.

After using the Apple Pencil for nearly 2 months, I must say that I thoroughly enjoy using it with my iPad Air. While you certainly don't need it to use the device, and it is rather expensive, I must say that it greatly expands what you can do with the device. Between more options to navigate through iPad OS, and the apps and utilities it opens, it is a great tool to get more out of your iPad. It definitely isn't perfect for every user, but for those who can enjoy it, it is absolutely worth it.

The Apple Pencil is so natural to use, it's a wonder it hasn't been more copied throughout the industry. I love that it charges while attached my iPad Pro magnetically...and that magnet is STRONG. I have no fear of losing my Pencil. It's literally like using a pencil to write and draw with my iPad. The ultimate accessory.

Purchased the Apple Pencil Gen 2 to go with the Apple iPad Air Gen 4. Smooth and seamless connection to the iPad. I enjoy how it charges the pencil wirelessly by magnetically attaching to the side of the iPad. Works great with drawing apps and as a stylus.

I got this to play around but have been using it much more than expected. Its easy and fun to use. I use it mainly for coloring and editing pictures. Watch out for the front tip falling off. It fell off and I didn't realize it for a little while. Luckily it didn't go far and I found it quickly.

I love the idea that I can save funds when I buy the open box items. Even though it says open box, the item is in excellent condition and restored to perfection by the techs in the department. I always end up using the money I saved to buy other items in the store.

Bought the 2nd generation Apple Pencil to go along with my iPad Air. The pencil is comfortable to hold and unlike the 1st generation it magnetically attaches and charges to the side of the iPad. Writing is smooth and with scribble added in iPadOS14 it expands what you can do with the pencil.
