Awesome for School
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally bought this for law school after wanting an Apple Pencil for years, but not having a specific reason to get one. Super useful when reading cases (online textbooks) to highlight, annotate, and simply draw out notes where needed. It has become an integral part of my studying loop, and I can’t imagine not having one in the future.

Worth it!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can't compare it to the 1st gen but I really like it the way it charges and feels on your hand. The only downside is that somehow the side of the tipgot scratched and it really annoys me but works just fine.

Digital Art
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased in combination with the latest iPad for digital art. We have not used one of these before, and it is a very cool piece of tech. It is surprisingly light and well-balanced, and made the transition from traditional to digital art very easy.

Apple Pencil feels a little chintzy but works grea
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I miss the weight and heft of the 1st generation Apple Pencil; this one is a lot lighter and the one flat side causes my hand to cramp in ways the earlier version never did. However, the magnetic charging is a way better setup than having to plug the old version into the side of the iPad so it protrudes awkwardly. Be careful what kind of case you get for your iPad; the first one I got did not allow the Apple Pencil to fit snug enough to the magnetized panel on the top of the iPad, so the Apple Pencil's battery died on me. I had to take the case back and buy a better designed one to let the Apple Pencil sit snugly against the magnet, and haven't had another problem like that since. This Apple Pencil charges pretty quickly and the pressure sensitivity and range of different holding angles work great as they did with the first generation Apple Pencil, but I will say this version seems to be even more sensitive/precise than the earlier iteration. It's also really nice that the extra replacement nibs I bought will not go to waste, as they fit both the first and second generation Apple Pencils.

Another great iPad accessory
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another cool accessory for the iPad. I haven't really used it for all it was intended, just scrolled around and jotted down some notes. Like that it just magnetically attaches and charges to the top of your iPad. Thinking I will like it and get good use out of it.

Great way to draw on iPad Pro!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn’t know that the new iPad Pro only worked with the Apple Pencil 2. After I got it, I was happy that it charges wirelessly by attaching to the iPad and the charge lasts a very long time. I use it to draw on the iPad with ProCreate works like a pen on paper very smooth.
