Do you need it?

My friends use theirs for doing digital art (for work) and it is a necessary tool for them, but as someone who casually uses the iPad and uses it to view files for work the pencil doesn't really do much for me.

I use it to draw mostly and it works just like a pencil with precision if used with a paper feel covering. Highly recommend to those who like to do digital art!

The flat side is neat to be able to have the pencil always attached to my iPad, and it is less likely to roll off flat surfaces like the 1st generation pencil.
