She told me it wasn’t necessary but from my description she would like to have it too! So she has the pen b iPad .

The Wrong Pencil

Make sure the sales associates sells you the correct pencil. When my iPad was delivered, I attempted to connect this pencil to the iPad but after much troubleshooting and information from Apple, it turns out this pencil will NOT work with a 10th generation iPad. I returned it to the store for an exchange to the USB-C pencil.
