Have not used it personally but those who have seem to like it. Like the fact it magnetically attaches itself to the I Pad and charges while attached. Caught a promotional discount to justify my 5 star value rating. Also not familiar with any aftermarket brands qualities.

Apple just makes everything seem less and much easier to use. Too bad Samsung started it but couldn't make it right

Teaching cursive

Just pick it up and go. Drawing and writing is true to real pencils. Pressure sensitive and responsive touch controls.
