    I'm happy with this phone. As regards it being new, I checked the model number and it did indicate it as being new. (Go to the settings, General, About: Model numbers starting with the letter "M" means it's a new device purchased from Apple Store Online or Apple Retail Store.) Possibly an open box situation. This definitely should have been mentioned in the description. Therefore can't give it 5 stars.
