Note: I verified that this review does not violate any of the "review guidelines" listed. That being said- I would gladly recommend the phone- just not from Best buy! I really enjoyed the upgrade from my old phone- it's too bad that when I activated it, my carrier ended up suspending my service and I had to call to confirm as to why. They indicated that 'the phone that I just activated was listed as "stolen", and they will not activate a stolen phone per their policy'. (so I'm currently stuck with a $700 'paperweight'.) I looked up the IMEI to verify that it was in fact reported as "stolen". I called Best buy customer support three times and the calls ended up getting disconnected about 30 minutes into the first 2, while I attempted to get the case escalated, to see who needs to get involved before I end up possibly having to take this matter up with my local law enforcement. I'm now awaiting a call back to see what my options are at this point... You'd think Best buy would vet their "certified pre-owned" merchandise (or 3rd party vendors) before offering them up for sale- and now it's my problem until they're able to get it resolved. (Not too "certified", if you ask me...) Again- Buyer beware. Hopefully this review stays up so it can save someone else the headache and frustration, if nothing else.

Refurbish is not working for me as a new items for that reason

The screen freezes and it doesn’t even work when I refresh the page. I have to delete the page since I’m on safari and and I have to start a brand new page . I hope they can trade it for a better phone I just got this for like. 2-3 weeks.

I’m having issues since the begin with my iphone, purchased at best buy but with the store return policy which is very short i was’nt able too return or exchange my divice .dont buy here go direct with cell phone companies.

very bad, the battery does not go beyond 40% charge, it has two screen and battery repairs and even so the phone is at a high cost, if you can do not risk it with this product.

Would recommend you buy elsewhere this phone is not from Best Buy it is from Jeg&Sons which has very poor reviews and can be purchased online for hundreds less Battery was less than 85 percent

This iPhone came with minor scratches on almost all sides of fhe device and a chip on the outer part of one of the camera lenses. Also the bigger problem was that the charging port does not work. Tried many cables with different wall adapters and it doesnt work

Junk phones and won’t stand behind there goods and won’t cover this

Waste of time to order this pre-owned iPhone 13 Pro Max. Placed the order on November 17, 2023 and still haven't received it, and it's November 29, 2023. It was promised November 25 and they've held the money, but no update on the order. Avoid, unless you're into letting companies take your money and hold it without delivering. This is why brick & mortar is in so much trouble. Amazon is preferred due to situations exactly like this!

I am very happy with this phone. It is super fast and it came in really good conditions (as described) Being an open box item. I got a bargain!

With a battery health of 85%, the price was expensive.
