Ordered unlock iPhone 7 for my parent. Cheaper to buy a refurbished phone than a brand new one. Found this phone on Best Buy website. A little pricey but considering how much memory it has, it is a decent buy. Once you place the order, I think you cannot change your order once it’s processing. Think customer service said within 30 minutes I believe it was. On Best Buy website when you search warranty they say a year but actually that is not true. Calling customer service they said it is located on the product page. Some are 30 days or 90 days... it will show on the information product page. Waited for the iPhone to arrive and it said it was delivering by a certain date, it was actually delayed. Somewhat worrisome since you can only track it. The item does not require a signature which is also nerve wrecking because you don’t want someone stealing your item. I was expecting a box to arrive. The item arrived in a plastic bubble wrap bag. Wish they had better packaging. Especially for a phone. Opened it up and the box inside was crushed some. There were some cards inside. The warranty is not by Best Buy. It is by another company called CCR. Information on the card was included. There is a generic charger that came with the phone. And the phone was in a thin box with a plastic piece holding the phone. No real padding basically in shipping but the bubble wrap bag. The phone comes not charged at all. It had a bunch of scratches on the back. The front glass looked okay. The bottom port area was scratched up pretty bad as seen in the picture included. Took a while to charge with the charger that was included. Set up was just like any other iPhone. Had to check the settings to double check if it is correct phone since there is no original packing with this phone at all. Best Buy said if there’s an issue with it, you can bring it back to the store and they would waive the restocking fee but if you had just changed your mind about the product, there is a restocking fee. So far the phone seems to be working okay. Hope it lasts many years. Recommend the product.

A couple of things to keep in mind with a refurbished phone: It may not be totally wiped - one came with info on the past owner and carrier in the Settings. I did a restore and fresh install of iOS to get rid of all leftover data, though I was surprised that wasn't done as part of the refurb. The phone also arrived with an unrefurbished battery - it had 81% maximum capacity, when for a refurb I'd assume they'd replace the battery with a new one. I was hoping to get a new battery or perhaps some money taken off the cost since the battery was well used. Instead, the offer made to me was to come in and replace the phone, and since it was refurbished I'd have to come into the store I bought it from, which is so far from where I live a friend picked it up for me and brought it the next time we met. I'd already set the phone up and need it for work, so taking the time to set up a replacement from scratch after a long RT to the store did not appeal. The other offer they made was I could bring it into the store and pay $50 for a new battery install - again not interesting to me bc I can get a battery replaced near me for the same cost. Customer service fail as far as I'm concerned. I'd be interested to know what their refurbishing process entails, given the phone arrived with a well used battery and settings from the past owner. The phone itself seems to be in good shape and operational, so besides the cost it will take me to replace the battery earlier than I'd expect, it is performing well. The cost was not the cheapest I'd seen for a refurbished model of the same grade, and I decided to buy from Best Buy because I assumed they'd do a great job testing, refurbishing, and standing by their work. I'm not sure I'd do it again.

The phone came with a charger after using it for a day all functions work there was no scratches or screen damage it almost looked new only negative item was the battery health was only 83% other than that very satisfied

I received my Preowned unlocked MATTE RED IPHONE 7 in very good condition. I would recommend my friends to buy preowned unlocked IPhones from Best Buy.

Despite excruciatingly slow shipping the refurbished phone works very well even though the battery was not replaced and is at only 84% capacity from new. Batteries are not that difficult or expensive to replace.

Excuse my fruit analogy ;) This refurbished item arrived quickly and well packed. It looks like new, has a great size and does everything I expected it to do. It’s not my first Apple device so I pretty much knew what I was getting when I ordered it: Apple quality. And here comes the „worm“: I keep getting all kinds of calls from numbers unbeknownst to me; even after I changed my phone number. It looks to me like the history of this open box/refurbished item has not been wiped out completely or there might be some kind of security breach. I had experienced similar issues with refurbished and open box items before so I don‘t think this is a problem with the iPhone but refurbished devices generally. Battery life is also disappointing.

Delivery was quick and the phone is like new. Just a few minimal scratches.

Overall, very good phone with very few scratches. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Came in seemingly pretty good packaging. However, the shipping was horrible compared to businesses like Amazon and others. Came two or three days after it was supposed to.

Very good for its price! Its decent quality and easy to use. I like everything about it except it gets pretty hot when it’s being used a little too much :(

Overall, the iPhone 7 is a great phone. I haven’t had any problems with it so far. It chargers great and is just like a brand new phone. The phone had very minimal wear to it and functions as it should. Unfortunately, the battery isn’t at 100% like a brand new one, but it doesn’t bother me. While the phone says it doesn’t work for Verizon, I put my sim card in and it hooked up right with my network, which was a plus! I was afraid it wasn’t going to work and my money would have went down the drain, but luckily it did. Very good purchase and might get another for sister in the next few months.

This phone is definitely worth the price. My phone came looking brand new without a scratch on the screen or the back. I know that some other people have reviewed phones that have come with scratches all over them, but mine wasn’t like that. It also has all the buttons and systems working perfectly, including the fingerprint reader. That being said because of the price that means you have to make a few compromises. My battery health is only at 85% so the battery does not last as long as a brand new phone(only about 5 hours), but it still lasts pretty well for me. Also the camera shutter sound cannot be disabled on my phone and that may be because my phone is from Korea or Japan where the shutter sound cannot be disabled. I thought that my phone would be coming with a lightning cord power adapter(dongle?) like other Apple phones because the wording in the description was a little confusing, but instead it came with a different cord. It also does not come with headphones so so I had to buy them separate. My phone also came about a week later than expected but I think that was more to blame on the mail shipping service. I would say that as long as you are willing to make some compromises for the price that this phone is worth it. I felt a little nervous buying a pre-owned phone without seeing it first and felt like it was a little bit of a gamble, but it was worth the risk.

We purchased 3 used iphone 7s for Christmas. All were of excellent quality as advertised. They arrived on time just before Christmas. These replaced 3 5s phones. The OS had to be updated in the 7s before we could restore the 5s backups to them. That added a little time, but was simple. All work well. The price was more reasonable than many other sites like Apple and Gazelle. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that one of the phone’s has a battery that discharges more quickly than the others I would definitely look at Best Buy again for used phones!

I found the phone I was looking for and the product was in good shape and was as advertised. The estimated delivery for pickup at the store was on time and was handled quickly.

The phone was in great condition and looked like new. Don’t have good experience with refurbished phones working long, so we’ll see how this one does.

Good buy for a pre owned iphone!!! Works great with any carrier. Also easy to set up if you are transferring from another iPhone.

Easy to set up and use but came a week later than expected. Over all a worthwhile purchase.
