Check phone in person before purchasing

The phone was in mint condition and works fine but at this price I expected the battery to be in better condition. I wouldn’t buy pre-owned without first checking the phone in-person.

Consider the alternatives

But powered on the screen still looked great, and I could not afford to go without a phone, so I let it ride. Within 3 months the Bluetooth functionality stopped working completely. Pretty important as I wear an apple watch, use airpods (there is no headphone jack), and stream music on my commutes. Now I'm tearing apart my house trying to find the box with the warranty information. Hate to see it folks.
