very sharp, sleek computer. Excellent performance. New to Mac and the transition has been much easier than I anticipated.

I am a single parent going to College and after having to get two new laptops in the last 3 years and tired of all the PC issues ... I started doing some research and decided to get a MacBook Pro I was afraid due to the price but I have no regards at all. I have had the computer since December 2011 and over all I am glad I made the investment. I will never go back to PC. I am new to the Mac World and learning to use the computer was very easy and still learning. The Apple support forum is great if you have any questions. I Highly recommend ...you will not be disappointed.

I really like it but had to returns it because of the specs, I can easily buy a great computer with the same amount or a lot less.

While one can get a laptop for half of what this one costs, the security one has with using and owning a MAC is great. I have been a MAC owner since I purchased my first laptop back in 2002 prior to going to college. That computer lasted me for almost ten years and only needed to be replaced because I personally put that computer through a whole bunch. I was a young and careless college undergrad and did not really take care of my computer, yet it worked smoothly throughout those years. It was time for an upgrade and I chose this one. I also have an iMAC at home. I am and will continue to be a MAC person. The features, the performance and the security provided when using this computer are unmatched.

This laptop is perfect for my day-to-day work and other demands. I'm super happy with its speed and the interesting features it has opposed to a PC (I just made the switch and I'm not going back!).

When my HP laptop (circa 2007) finally crapped out, my father was kind enough to hook me up with this MacBook for college. Let me just say, I was always one of those non-Mac people because I was just biased to PCs. Well, I am glad mine died because this computer is thebest I have ever had. I am still learning how to adjust, but when I don't want to throw my laptop out of my window, that's a SUCCESS!!!

Perfect size, great portability. I'm hooked on Mac and I will never go back to a PC!!

I bought this mac book, since it claimed it can also run Widows. As I have discovered, although it can be partitioned, and windows can be installed on the second partition, the window side and the mac side do not communicate with each other. the two partitions don't connect to each other unless I use an external USB drive, to copy files and transfer to the other . I also find the process of moving from one system to the other time consuming, and archaic. This is a major shortcoming.

This laptop is perfect for business travel. Light and compact. Starts up very quickly and long battery life.

I love Apple products and my 13 mac is no exception. However I recently encountered a problem with Apple's warranty service and this notebook. The battery on my macbook started having issues - the system stated it needed service. So I took it in to the Apple store at King of Prussia and was told that the battery is not covered under Apple's warranty. The replacement was to cost $130. I find that hard to believe. My battery had 129 out of the 1,000 charging cycles for which it is warranted. Frustrated by that experience I checked out other manufacturer's warranty policy. While I can handle having to go to Apple stores and standing in line having to wait when warranty issues come up, I noticed other manufacturers have more generous warranty policies. Lenovo for instance has a 1 battery replacement policy no questions asked and a 24 hour at home replacement policy with their 3 year warranty plan. I think that beats the heck out of Apple's policy. Apple's notebooks still have better displays and timemachine is an awesome backup system, but competitors are catching up and I will definitely take a closer look at their products when I am in the market for another notebook.

I became an Apple user two years ago when I purchased an iMac. I needed a laptop but didn't want to pay the Apple price. Needless to say, I bought a PC, which ended up being a $700 paperweight. The MacBook Pro, just like my iMac, has worked out great. It hasn’t crashed or locked up like a PC. Once you get use to the Apple commands, life is good!

First time using a laptop and using a Mac and i gotta say I'm in love. Overall convenience and performance, its jus suited for my life style.

I purchased this product as a gift for my son's recent graduation from college. He loves his powerbook and wishes he had it for college. Thank for the great product at an excellent price.

i bought the 13.3" dual core i7 with a 750GB HDD and I love it. The machine just works wonderfully and it never freezes. The transition to OSX was really pretty easy and took me about 2 days to make the conversion. I upgraded my RAM to 8GB and put a 240GB Intel 520 SSD in it and now my MBP just flies. I highly recommend that you upgrade the RAM and add an SSD it just makes amazing performing gains. I highly recommend this product to anyone.

Great computer. Just needs a program to watch any video type installed on in straight out of the box

I have had my share of Laptops and PCs and this Macbook is far superior to anything I have ever had. I was nervous to pay the amount associated with this item but I am glad I did.

I went from a 6 year old 15" MacBook Pro to the 13" this time. I absolutely love it ! The typical Mac quality is evident and like all Macs, it just works as is is supposed to. The only change I am not fond of has to do with the trackpad. The older Pro was a two piece unit a separate select bar at the bottom. The new one is all one piece, which I find a bit clumsy. A minor detail on a otherwise great laptop.

Bought this as a replacement PC for my wife. She had problems with malware on her Windows PC, and we're both suffering from middle-aged eyes. Monitor quality is terrific, availability of excellent free anti-malware (Sophos for MacOS) and the general history of Macs being more resistant to common malware gambits, easy interface to learn, all make it a winner for her use. She doesn't need to use the specialist software I have (AirMagnet Survey Pro, Spectrum Expert, assorted network tools), and both iWork and MS-Office for Mac are available to meet her typical requirements.

This is the first Mac I've purchased. i'm very pleased with my purchase. My sister-in-law bought my brother a laptop and I recommended the Pro. Love it!
