Had to buy a replacement because our first one broke... hopefully this one will last longer

It's a remote. Solid hard t navigate I wish I could use the new Apple remote with my Apple TV

was hoping i could use this remote with my new macbook,,didnt work so i had to return it

This is the second time that i buy it because stops working even if i change the battery

Good basic apple remote since we lost our old one during a move.

There are not any problems with this remote. I was able to replace my old one.

I purchased this today because I needed to give a presentation and wanted a remote instead of having to stand by my computer the whole time. According to Best But's product description, you can "control your iPod, iPhone or Mac" with this remote. However, this is patently false. It's an Infra-red based remote. MacBooks apparently stopped having Infra-red technology years ago, thus my 2020 MacBook is not compatible with this. Waste of time. Will be returning.

It works as advertised but it is not feature filled and is expensive

the new one has muxh more feature however this does the trick

I'm annoyed the first one died- remotes should not have to be replaced.

It worked fine nothing major to report. Typical Apple product, it's good.

I hate how the remote isn't universal. It seems like it breaks a lot.

I have to be so close to the TV and also if you used to have the new Apple TV remote, this is very annoying because the functionality is very limited. Just buy the latest one to save money and headache.

Don't work really well because after 3 months if hard to used it

I was confused by this and thought it was a remote to control my mac, which it did work but just for controlling music and the button selection was very limited. Not worth it, I returned it.

Works very well when you first get it. After a month or so it starts acting up. Changed batteries but still gives me problems. Went thru 4 remotes in a year. Or happy with it. Using remote app on my cell to control Apple TV now.

Here’s my review order product May 7th been on line on the phone tracking!!! NEVER NEVER have received the product and was charged for it! Phone wait 2 hours tracking is a joke I am extremely upset and disappointed I couldn’t get through to local Best Buy! So there you have my review!!!!

My biggest complaint about the Apple TV are these remotes, the are easily lost, and not fun to use. Simple design, with no quick buttons. They have updated the controllers since these.

Led to believe I was buying a remote for my iPad that would enable me to mute its audio...nope. Simply controls on/off and volume level. Bet no one really reads these comments but nothing to lose at this point. Deeply disappointed. Thanks
