Works fine even with the latest 4k apple TV< but this does not have the touch pad or two of the other buttons. Works in a pinch, but not the same as the new ones.

It works as intended, a direct replacement for an original remote that my dog decided was better as a chew toy.

This is just a standard 1-3rd gen Apple TV remote. One of mine got liquid damage and needed to be replaced. Works like a charm.

I use the Apple Remote app on my phone more than the device. The device can get lost easily because it is tiny and difficult to locate.
