I travel for work and I always bring my apply tv with me. On my last trip I forgot my remote at home and had to get a new one. Bought this one. Didn't need to be programmed or anything.

I bought this Apple remote as a replacement for the one I previously purchased for my granddaughter who is a college student. She had lost the other one probably due to the size of the remote. Other than that, she has no complaints about the remote that she uses with the Apple TV.

Apple TV remote is a necessity. Mine slipped underneath my recliner one night and I crushed it. Fortunately I was able to get a replacement at Best Buy.

Remote is easy to use. And easy to lose. Luckily there are apps for phones but if you have to get a new router, you'll need the actual remote to set Appletv back up . (older gens)

This remote ONLY works for MacBooks that still have the IR receiver. If that's what you have, this will do.

This is a great alternative to the 4th generation Siri remote. I find it easier to control my Apple TV WHEN USUNG THIS ONE.
