Never had a problem with the one it came with my kids just loose them all the time. I loved that this is only $20 vs the newer apple tv's remote priced at $70.

Needed a replacement for the original remote for the 3rd Gen Apple TV. This device is the replacement for the original and does exactly what it needs to do.

It’s simple and it works. No Siri but now I don’t have problems controlling the scrolling feature like the newer one.

We have Apple TV. All of a sudden, the remote stopped working. One trip to Walmart to buy a pack of (2) new batteries did not resolve the problem. I thought I was facing a whole new Apple TV purchase or some other brand. All have elevated in price as rather than offer lower prices of existing product due to reduced part costs, new technology which I do not need is introduced which allows the price to be raised. Enter Best Buy – they stock the existing remote so as far as having to buy a whole new product with a bunch of technology I do not need – I am SAVED!!
