We misplaced our Apple remote and had to invest in another one. A Best Buy associate help me find it and the check out process was easy. The remote itself worked the moment we took it out of the book.

My original Apple TV stopped working. Unfortunately I wasted time and money when I bought a new battery. The remote still didn’t work after I replaced the battery. I called Apple Support and they said I needed a new remote and my unit was very old and out of warranty. I went to Best Buy and in record time I was out of the store and on my way home. The new Apple remote worked perfect and within minutes I was back to watching You Tube Videos.

Simple & easy to use. Connected to my Apple tv 3rd Gen without issues.

It's a replacement, the 3rd one for the same Apple TV unit. They are a bit delicate, and if you were to have an issue with the contacts under the large circular part, you're done for. But, hey, it is what it is and Apple makes great products and I like the TV, plus you can always use a remote app.

I was happy to find the Apple TV Remote on sale at BestBuy for $20. After losing our original one, we resorted to using the Apple TV remote app on our phones. This app was recently updated and very difficult to use; it is quite different than the original remote control. The original hardware remote is your only option if you are used to the original navigation motions, Will buy extras just in case we lose another one.

The remote was well packaged and easy to sync to my second gen Apple TV. My first one was lost and I was worried I was going to have problems setting up and new remote. I have the downloaded app on my phone but on occasion, when I update my phone or my phone is plugged in cause it’s low battery, I like to have the convenience of a dedicated device remote.

Needed to purchase remote since last one was lost. Word right out of the box. No issues! If you need a new remote for any reason for Apple TV this is a simple easy replacement.

The remote works well with our Apple TV; however, it is very simplistic. Volume up or down, forward, rewind, stop, a Menu button to get back to the opening screen, and that's about it. I don't really think any other remote would work with our AppleTV, so the consumer is kind of stuck.

I purchased this for use with the new AppleTV because I hate the touchscreen version that much.
