Apple Remote review

We tried cheap on from Amazon, but it didn't sync. So we bought this apple remote, though it was more, it definitely worked as it was suppose to. I would recommend buying Apple products that are from Apple, especially when it comes to an apple remote.

Initially, I figured that the only thing that my remote needed was a fresh battery. When i tried a new battery it soon became evident that i was going to need to replace my old unit. I went on line and found out that the remote was in stock. I went to my local Best Buy and purchased a new one. Now, it's a beautiful world.

Simple design, too simple

Two buttons were not responding so needed replacement remote. Apple TV remote for 3rd generation is designed to be simple, but sometimes it is to simple. When “typing” letters for a search, or writing an username, email address or password, it is time consuming to do so. It is st those times wish the remote had keyboard for easier and quicker data entry. I like how the 4th and 5th generations are set up for entering that information (Siri voice control, or keyboard comes on your phone or tablet).
