Does the job, but...

The phone app is much more convenient.

I've owned four apple tv's and each remote has died within the year of owning it. Often it's a directional button that breaks, up down left right etc. If you're able to find an app that works on your phone to control your tv; use that instead.

It just functions basically as a gimmicky device to use with a Mac Mini. It is too slippery for a metallic casing. Too bad this does not work properly with High Sierra.
