Best remote for an Apple TV, works great and pairs up quickly to your Apple TV. Best part is it's an RF remote not an IR so you don't need to point it at the base unit, it even works under the covers. Just a bit spendy but in my opinion worth it.

I would give this 4.5 stars honestly. This is a HUGE improvement over the previous remote, because of the added controls. However this remote at times still lacks something. While not needed all the time, at times it is still complicated to access menus in certain apps. I have a Roku in another bedroom and the couple extra buttons on it, make a difference in selecting what I need. Overall though, a much improved Apple Remote.

Excellent upgrade for the Apple TV remote that continues to honor the goal of simplicity that Apple applies to all its products. Still far better than the crazy remotes on most tvs and other devices. This revised remote is easy to use and straight forward in its design.

Great feel to remote better. Replaces old swipe remote. Better functionality when eating buttered popcorn.

Love the remote the other apple remote i am sure it was created by the devil so hard to use but but this one

Very functional and flexible; however only one remote can be connected at a time.

The Apple tv remote worked perfectly right out of the box. After I powered it on, I was able to easily sync it with my Apple tv (older version). I just wish Apple would come up with an app to find the remote when it gets misplaced.

This design change is a huge improvement over the original Siri remote.

The Gen 2 touch Apple Remote was one of the worst designs Apple has ever created, whoever came up with that design should be slapped by Will Smith. This new Gen 3 is reminiscent of the Gen 1 and sturdier.

So much easier to use than the original Siri Remote, and the non glass construction I don’t have to worry about the kids dropping it and breaking it like the previous one

A huge step up from the existing Apple TV remote. Sturdier in the hand, more relevant buttons and then all the great features we had before. A must for Apple TV users. Could be a touch cheaper I suppose but it's worth the money.

Very practical and easy to use however aesthetically it looks old & it’s bulky.

Really enjoyed this product. I liked it way more than the first gen remote.

Easiest of any Apple Remote to use by far. I really enjoy using this remote and the battery life is so long. Just don't forget you will have to charge it occasionally. Five out of five stars!

Great remote. It provides more controlling options than previous models. The touch enabled click pad get a little bit of getting use to but it is very practical.

Leaps and bounds better than the previous Apple TV Remote! It's a little sensitive on the touch button because the arrow buttons are so close to it. Wish they would have made them more spaced out.
