The apple keyboard is the best. It makes me using my iPad so much easier.

If you write anything on your ipad, this is the best accessory to have. It doesn't require paring or charging because it uses the Apple Smart Connector for power and communication. It is always with the iPad because it becomes part of the cover. Every other keyboard has to be carried separately and be charged and pared via bluetooth. This is far superior!

I was hesitant at first because of the price, but went ahead and got it, and I have no regrets!! I love how I don’t have to worry about charging it, I just snap it on my iPad when I need to use it. The keyboard itself feels really nice. And keys are easy to type on. I can type blazing fast on this keyboard. Apple always makes the best for its products!

Really nice feeling keyboard, very portable, and also very looking case

I also own an iPad Pro 12 and bought a ZAGG Slimbook keyboard and case which I have had replaced twice under warranty because of the plastic case breaking in 2 different ways. When I purchased my iPad Pro 10.5, I decided to get the Apple Smart keyboard for it and I'm glad I did. The design allows it to fold up and double as screen cover and stand.

This Keyboard works like a champ, and folds up a couple of different ways to accomodate different usage positions - i.e stuck with little leg room on the plane, to sitting at the desk, etc. Haven't dropped my iPad, so can't speak to how well it protects, but I'm very pleased with the core functionality.

Great keyboard although expensive. Pairs so much better with other apple products than cheaper bluetooth keyboards I've tried - however I know it's an issue not with the cheap keyboards but with my device. Sometimes it's just worth it to buy the more expensive product for ease of use.

This keyboard by far is the best fitting overall compared to the other brands. Key spacing and response is on point. Superb layout and design.

I love using this keyboard. It adds very little weight to my iPad. No charging of battery required for keyboard. Perfect for home and travel.

I love the keyboard, and the key travel and response is great, my only request would be to have back lit keys. I use it for work, typing up emails and reports, it's just as if I were typing on a laptop. I purchased this in order to get away from using a laptop, and so far, I have not had the need to even think of using my laptop. Great work by apple.

I don’t like buying extra STUFF, but this keyboard is so perfect. Silly to say, but my fingertips love the responsive keys. So light on the touch. It’s almost like the keyboard is reading my mind. And the cover is durable and protects the face. Only the back of the pad is exposed when used as a cover so I expect some scratches eventually.

Well you can’t very well buy the Apple pen & the new iPad and not get the convenient keypad to go with it! Talk about making life easier.

The keyboard itself is an OK keyboard. It. Is a bit small overall, so it is a bit cramped typeing on it. I also dislike there not being any indicator when CAPS LOCK is on. I love how it uses the smart connector and draws what little power it uses from the iPad itself, making it thin and easy to carry. I kinda like how it folds into a Smart Cover for the screen as well, but it leaves the device back fully exposed to scratches, etc.

Have tried a couple of combined keyboard cases. THis is my first apple one and have to say, I’m sorry I didn’t get it sooner. It’s great! Slimmer profile for the iPad, full coverage for protection, and a good keyboard with direct charging from the ipad, good connectivity, and nice key feel. Very happy with this keyboard/case combo.
