While the keyboard works well functionally as a keyboard and attaches fairly well, it has a huge downside. Absolutely no back cover for the iPad at all. I’m used to having a back cover so with this keyboard the iPad becomes fragile and I ended buying a separate case

when it worked it worked well. However, after an OS upgrade in 2019 I started getting "accessory not supported" Other forums on the device indicated the same error, but Apple did not recognized the issue. Instead they recommended I send it in for a repair at my cost. Ridiculous. It was a year old and I paid $159 for it. with no other options I tried all the solutions suggested on line. Cleaning the magnets, restarting the Ipad with and without the keyboard etc. I am a big Apple fan but so very disappointed in this product. The keyboard is nothing more than a very expensive cover now. So disappointed.

Easy to connect via Bluetooth. No need for difficult setup.

This is a great official Apple keyboard cover for the new iPad.

A nice accessory but just one more thing to carry.

This is a bit expensive and there are better alternatives so I would skip it. I recommend the Logitech dual-touch keyboard which has a real trackpad (that supports apple gestures just like a macbook's keyboard) and back-lit keys.

When the keypad is used, the height and angle of the stand causes the keyboard to tilt up and not stay flat. Very annoying. Wish I could get a refund. Sorry. Apple didn't check all of the design points on this one.

case not designed to protect and cove all of the ipad.need to be very careful or it will slide out and break-cheaper other brands do a lot better job.

I bought this with the new 7th generation iPad and wasn’t thrilled it didn’t cover the whole iPad. It only covers the front and leaves the back exposed. I returned this Product and got the Logitech slim folio instead and love it!

If you need to do some major writing I wouldn't count on this keyboard. For me the position of the keyboard and connected iPad make for tired hand. It works for occasional longer emails and such but don't write that 20 page term paper with this. :-)

I purchased an open-box version of this item, which was rated "Fair" for cosmetic defects. However, after two weeks of use, the keyboard only rarely connects to the iPad on a first try. I'm sure the product is excellent when purchased new, but I'm disappointed that Best Buy's open-box system isn't more thorough about quality control.

as much as Apple gets accolades for high end products, their keyboards are frequently lacking. This is okay for a mobile solution but not as good as others such as Samsung, and has no touchpad.

I ordered both Ipad and keyboard case. Had to wait for a few weeks to get it. The Ipad came and the key board came later and both items was charged to my BB account the same time. The key pad never worked so I came in and got another one plus the protector sheet. The sales lady said I could bring in the protection sheet when the store open fully and get some one to installation free. I visited the store on 6/21 and was told that there was a installation fee. I left. I am thinking about brining everything back to BB and order from Amazon.
