This was the only Apple product I regret ever purchasing. The keyboard stopped connecting to my IPad and when I called Apple about the problem all I got was a run around

Once it was attached to the iPad, the iPad heated up so much that I could not hold it. So I kept the iPad which I have no problems with and returned the keyboard

Regret buying this piece of junk. It started to unravel around the edges and the keypad was just totally unresponsive. Stopped working 8 months after I bought It. Don’t buy it

The sales associate said it would be useful in attaching to our iPad, however turns out it was not. We returned it and purchased a different model and make.

This does not protect the iPad on all sides and not on the corners. While the keyboard is decent, it keeps disconnecting from the iPad so this is awful.

This was BOT PICKED UP, waiting for rest of MY ORDER. NOT HAPPY, we drove 25 miles to pick it up and when we got there only part of order was there.

I had to return it; it didn't cover/protect the entire screen. I had purchase a ZAG product that was heavy but worked.

The keyboard would not lie flat no matter what I did. Went on line and discovered many others had the same problem.

OK product but a little bit flimsy. It's pretty thin and nice though and lightweight. Best part is that it is light!

had to keep adjusting the connection to make the keyboard work, I expect more from Apple.

Stopped working after 2 years. Paid $170 and it should have lasted longer than 2 yrs

When I added my iPad Pro, the keyboard did not sit flat. Returned for full refund.

Did not work as expected, I returned it. I would not recommend.

Pricey didn’t need it didn’t like the quality Retuned it.

No need for batteries, no pairing. You simply plug into the iPad Pro, and off you go. Totally mindless perfection! Nice feel to the keyboard as well. Call me totally happy. You get what you pay for. Don't buy a beautiful new iPad and then try to go cheap on the keyboard. Just get this one.

Love this keyboard and iPad! Huge fan of Apple products. Always easy to use.

I was hesitant to purchase this (I’ve had several iPads and keyboard cases in the past), but I found an open box deal and jumped on it when I bought the 10.5” iPad. I’ve had no regrets so far. It did take a few times until I figured out how to get it to fold down properly, but once I did, I’ve had no issues. The keyboard is easy to work - is easily the best keyboard I’ve ever had for an iPad (I’ve had Zagg and other pricey ones). The only thing I wish it had was backlighting, but then it’d probably cost $200 haha. I pair it with a UAG Metropolis to cover the back (I just disconnect it from the other part) so it has the pencil holder too) - also got that on sale, so this makeshift system is the best of both worlds for me. Wish it weren’t so expensive, but it’s Apple lol.

Like many Apple branded accessories, this works flawlessly. It’s also a bit overpriced for what it is, but I happened to get an “open-box, excellent” one on here and saved about $25. I used this keyboard on my 9.7” iPad Pro, so I knew I needed it for my new 10.5” iPad Pro. For me, it paired easily and works like a charm. While it isn’t the same as typing on a traditional keyboard, I find it easy to use and don’t make any more mistakes typing than I do on a full sized keyboard. My biggest gripe is that apple changed the size of this new iPad JUST ENOUGH that I have to go buy brand new accessories for it. Considering what you already pay for an iPad, the cost of this is ridiculous, but I guess that’s what you get when you buy apple products. All in all, if you use the iPad to answer emails, write reviews like this, or anything that requires typing, this keyboard is a must have. I’ll continue to purchase them if I buy an iPad that the old size won’t work with.

I first tried the Apple Smart Keyboard with my iPad Pro 9.7. I knew it was going to be a cool accessory, but I never imagined how reliant I would become on it. It works as a front cover, a stand, and obviously, a keyboard. No batteries or charging required, it just magnetically grabs onto the edge of your iPad and it's ready to go. I just purchased the iPad Pro 10.5 and this was the very first thing I went looking for to go with it.

This keyboard is just what you need if you have the iPad Pro 10.5 inch. It fits perfectly and performs well. I had the previous version to go with the iPad Pro 9.7 and traded up to the 10.5 and immediately got this keyboard. It is so easy to use and is so beneficial if you do a lot of typing on your iPad Pro. Perhaps one day Apple will make this keyboard to go with the iPad, but for now, I am so glad it is available to go with iPad Pro. It folds flat and acts as a cover for the screen when needed, or it can be removed and stored when not needed. There is no pairing or charging, which is so convenient. This makes it easy to travel with as well.
