Exactly as expected. My wife has this keyboard. The keyboard is more expensive than others available but it does not require its own charging mechanism, it is magnetically attached making it very convenient, it opens to a magnetic secure connection for both the keyboard and the iPad, it works as intended and is reliable.

Apple keyboard works and feels great. Just doesn’t provide any back protection with this single purchase.

Let me start off by saying that the Apple Smart Keyboard is a great keyboard, but a little pricey. Luckily, I got mine on sale for $99 from Best Buy. If you are in need of a great iPad keyboard, I would recommend this one, especially if it is on sale. The keys have a nice “clicky” feel to them. I would not consider them mushy. I like that they have an integrated fabric covering the entire keyboard, so crumbs, dust, or liquid can’t get under the keys. This Smart Keyboard does not use bluetooth, rather it uses a Smart Connector found on some newer iPad models, which means that only some iPad models support this keyboard. Overall, it is a great keyboard, with good functionality, and smart features, from Apple. I would recommend.

This Apple keyboard is expensive but works well with the iPad. Not very protective of the iPad, but it is convenient and functional.

There are a lot of options out there for Bluetooth keyboards for iPads. I’ve tried out a lot of them and they just don’t seem to work as well as I would like them to. The Smart Keyboard is more than worth the investment. I love that it charges directly from it's connection to the iPad Air, so when I plug the iPad in to charge the keyboard gets charged, too. It feels like you are typing on a traditional keyboard. It doubles as a screen cover and stand. I find the magnetic connection awesome.

Easy to use. Good size. Isnt backlit, wish it was.

This product operates the same as an IPad, only a smaller verison and is easer to handle. Operates with both keypad and pen.

Easy connectivity. Did have to shut off and restart IPad. Previous reviews had mentioned this so I didn't think there was something wrong with the keyboard, or my connection. Use for checking email when my laptop isn't available.
