Having a keyboard on your iPad really makes it more effective. The keys press well and are satisfying to use. It connects easy and effectively and even doubles as a cover.

Awesome keyboard, just well suited to my ipad. It works seamless with no issues. Even my son is surprised with it and wanted to get another for his own use.

This is my first Apple Smart Keyboard. For my previous iPad Pro, I bought an after market blue tooth version. It's great not having to charge it separately from the iPad. Two things I'm not crazy about is it's a little too floppy and doesn't offer any protection to the iPad back. I ended up buying a separate shell cover for that. I think it's a bit too expensive for what you get.

Excellent, slim design; easy to set up; easy to use.

The Smart Keyboard is more convenient than the old style as it charges along with the iPad. The keyboard for my old iPad had to be charged on its own.

Keys type very well connects instantly to ipad also work well as a stand for videos

This keyboard is such a great addition to the iPad. It's comfortable and compact, and makes it easy to type while watching TV or other things.

For function and value....a 1 or a 2 at best. Compared side by side with the Logitech Combo touch keyboard, the Apple falls completely flat. The Logitech is better in every category and is hands down the ONLY choice for your Apple Ipad when looking for a keyboard and case.. The Apple keyboard is just lacking in every sense. ZERO protection for your Ipad. No trackpad...which is a surprisingly nice feature. Zero hotkey/function keys at the top. Both my wife and myself felt like the Apple was lacking in every way versus the Logitech. My wife uses her ipad for work everyday and LOVES the Logitech....and made me quickly return the Apple keyboard. IF you are looking for a VERY minimalistic keyboard with little to no ipad protection and no need for trackpad or function keys, then this MIGHT work for you. It did not for us.

Exactly as expected. My wife has this keyboard. The keyboard is more expensive than others available but it does not require its own charging mechanism, it is magnetically attached making it very convenient, it opens to a magnetic secure connection for both the keyboard and the iPad, it works as intended and is reliable.

Love a great keyboard which this is. I also order a replace for my old iPad. Easy to use.

Let me start off by saying that the Apple Smart Keyboard is a great keyboard, but a little pricey. Luckily, I got mine on sale for $99 from Best Buy. If you are in need of a great iPad keyboard, I would recommend this one, especially if it is on sale. The keys have a nice “clicky” feel to them. I would not consider them mushy. I like that they have an integrated fabric covering the entire keyboard, so crumbs, dust, or liquid can’t get under the keys. This Smart Keyboard does not use bluetooth, rather it uses a Smart Connector found on some newer iPad models, which means that only some iPad models support this keyboard. Overall, it is a great keyboard, with good functionality, and smart features, from Apple. I would recommend.
