Very convenient and slim. Way better and lighter than the third party hard case and keyboard I bought online. Wouldn't pay full price but good deal when on sale.

I wanted a keyboard for my iPad that wouldn’t add a lot of extra weight. This one is great - lightweight, easier to use, sealed keys. I love that it uses the iPad battery too.

Perfect keyboard for new iPad. Keyboard sits flat and works great. Love that it attaches with magnet and you don’t have to charge separately. Definitely too expensive but I was able to get it for a sale price that made it worth it

I had the logitech keyboard which included a trackpad and other keys not included in the Apple one, but was very very inconsistent and eventually stopped working after a year. I purchased this one as a replacement, even thought it cost more. But this one is Apple, which means it *consistently* works, but it only works because you are forced to angle it in a certain way to make it work. If the logitech one did the same, mine would still be working! With that said, the keys feel a lot better than the logitech, but it is missing a crucial feature - the trackpad. Trackpad is incredibly useful to however over links without linking them. Pros: Feels good, works well, always works Cons: pricey, prevents a lot of cases, only 1 angle to view, missing trackpad It's a lot more cons than pros - but the always working part outweighs the features I gave up

Works great, feels good, sturdy enough i'm not worried about dropping it from a little height. Sucks the battery dry on my ipad because its constantly drawing off the side connector. Don't love that part.

Love this keyboard, couldn’t live without it. This is the second one I had. The first one lasted many years and the only reason for getting a new one was I wore the keys out on the first. It easily connected to my iPad and the way it closes is fast, simple and protects the screen of iPad. I wouldn’t have any other keypad and is absolutely worth the extra money you may spend!

Overpriced in my opinion but good quality, super slim design, works well, easy to type and spill resistant, typical Apple product, but beware, magnets worked with iPad 10.2 but did not stay shut on iPad Air 10.5 because of the thinner bezels

Snaps on iPad really easily and works immediately no Bluetooth or setup required but only works in landscape mode, only protects front of iPad when closed, and is a little expensive.

Bought this for my son, for college. He absolutely loved it. This keyboard is super easy to use and very convenient, especially since you do not need a charger for it. This is another great product from Apple. I would recommend this keyboard if you’re in the market for quality and convenience.

The keyboard makes entering text far easier than tapping on the screen. Because of its size, it's certainly not like typing on a regular keyboard. But I am thankful I purchased it because it has made entering long comments so much easier than tapping out a letter at a time. A very nice plus is the fact that the keyboard folds up and wraps around the iPad making it a nice cover for the iPad. I'm very happy with it.

Excellent purchase for my daughter's new iPad 8th generation. It works flawlessly and lets her type with ease. It supports the iPad so she doesn't have to prop it up on a pillow or on the floor against a dresser to FaceTime with friends and schoolmates. It draws power from the iPad itself so it never needs to be charged. It fits perfectly and the soft felt side protects the screen when folded over. She keeps a clear, see through case that protects the back and sides. Everything meshes great. On top of it all it was on sale for $99.00. Worth every penny.

Great, item! I am able to connect all my devices through my AppleId. The keyboard in this unit work wonders easy to use and multifunctional as a keyboard and a stand. Keyboard attaches very easily.

I cannot imagine a better solution. I'm a writer and need a keyboard. The keyboard itself has an excellent feel and speed. It attaches easily by magnets and results in an easel-propped iPad with a much smaller "footprint" than others so it fits well on an airplane tray. I've purchased others and they're much more impractical and short-lived.

For my purposes, this keyboard rates as good but not excellent. I purchased it mainly to aid my foreign language studies, and it has some limitations in that area. It is engineered very well and fits comfortably when the iPad is flat, raised for typing, or at a higher angle for watching the screen. I have found it works well for typing in English, Spanish, and German, but is deficient for typing in French, because there do not seem to be any key combinations for adding the accents. Since Spanish has only one accent, a key combination works fine for that goal, but French requires several different accents.

After using a Bluetooth keyboard for a while, upgrading to the Smart Keyboard for Apple 10.5 iPad Pro is a no brainer. Your keyboard is always connected and makes typing a note or long letter a breeze. This keyboard also acts as a stand for your iPad if you’re working at a kitchen table or a desk. This keyboard is Highly recommended and I consider it a must have in today’s “work from home” environment.

The Smart keyboard works great as both a protective cover for the iPad glass screen and as a full function keyboard for the iPad. It adds very little weight to the unit and is powered off the iPads battery so you never need to charge it. If you want something to cover the back of the unit there are other smart keyboard/case units to choose from. This one suited my purpose and I am very satisfied.

I have choices but this is perfect for my son's iPad. I and my son could not even more satisfied. It's a perfect match and easier to use for his schooling.
