Genuine Apple product and works well as I expected

This is a needed cord if you have a Mac computer with the USB-C design. No worries about extra devices to charge iPhone or other Apple products with this cord.

It is a cable, well made, seems durable and works. There are off brands that are cheaper, but I ha e found some of those to be “hot or Miss” type quality.

Product is nice and better quality than the cord that comes with iPad. This one is thicker and sturdier. Only problem is that it’s expensive and you don’t have a cheaper option unless you get off brand. Ll

I needed a Thunderbolt cable. I didn't need another cable where I couldn't tell if it was simply a USB-C cable or a Thunderbolt. Clue: If it doesn't have the lightning bolt on the plug, you can bet it's only a USB-C cable. You can use a Thunderbolt 3 for USB-C but not vise versa. I've found that I can quickly know a cable is not Thunderbolt if I try to plug the computer to my Thunderbolt 4K display and it doesn't work. This cable is no longer than I needed. A perfect fit.

Cable is a replacement, and it is fine. Having said that, the 0.8 m one is good to have, but I also purchased 6-foot and 10-foot ones because I like a longer leash. Also, while the Apple product performs as expected, they are expensive compared even to the high end third party cables, which are the ones that offer longer cables. Finally, if my original Apple cables didn't keep failing in the first place, I wouldn't have to keep buying replacements. Consider the high quality third party braided ones with more joint protection.
