I bought this because best buy sold me an HP lap top a while back and the charging cord became frayed. They said they did not sell HP Parts only the laptops. I asked them if they could order the product for me so I would get the right one. I was told they could not order anything they don't sell. They sold me the apple one which was very short and I had to practically sit on top of an electrical outlet to use it. Finally I received the correct one from HP after much difficulty. I feel Best Buy should have told me that i would have to get replacments parts directly from HP before selling me that Laptop. Had they done so I would not have bought it. I will be very cautious about buying anything from Best Buy in the futere.

charges my phone fast is a good length of cord Would reccomend to anyone who is needing a new cord it so far it appears stronger then some of the others I have bought

I actually purchased this only as a charging cable but apparently it has greater functionality than I was originally aware of at the time of purchase.

Apple makes great products. Probably why I’ve never left their ecosystem.

Although it is short length, good cable for data/charging.

Without this cable I wouldn’t have been able to complete a studio session in my studio. the no-name brand that I had first didn’t work and this one works perfectly!

You can’t go wrong with getting the OEM products. More expensive that generic cables, but at least you know it will work compared to some that claim to be Apple certified

Its a thunderbolt 3 cable. Works as expected. Probably a bit over priced but at the time of purchase Apple wasn't allowing quick charge over 3rd party cables.

Apple does charge more for their cables, but I prefer to use Apple cables on my Apple products. Also, ordering an Apple cable of any sort, you're not over-whelmed by a large, off-brand product line to choose from. I've been using the Apple cable products for my Apple devices since the early 2000's and haven't ever had a problem.

It works as advertised. There have no problems with the cable

This is perhaps the longest active Thunderbolt 3 cable (not USB-C cable) I could find. It can charge up to 100W and send data up to 40Gbps. It's very reliable.
