Apple never disappoints!

They work well, for what they are supposed to do. The price could be better, but we’re talking about Apple products here and most people know how that goes. Otherwise, would recommend for reliability and compatibility.

Great as a spare

Heavier Gauge Than the Origianal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to buy this when I bought a spare 87-W USB-C Power Adapter for my MacBook Pro. Although i was disappointed that the adapter did not come with this cable, I ended up keeping this as my everyday use cable and used the original as my spare for when I travel. Besides, the original cable is longer and comes in handy in hotel rooms and other areas where power outlets are not alway available nearby.

All USB-C Cables are Not the Same

For instance, I have a ASUS USB-C monitor that is powered solely from the USB-C cable from my MacBook Pro. The USB-C cable carries the power and the video signal. The cable that came with my monitor was probably only 6". I had purchased several USB-C cables that didn't work. After troubleshooting with the person that assisted me in the store, we realized that Thunderbolt cables carry the signal required to operate the monitor. But, I do think the Apple cables are overpriced, so I had to take off a star.
