Tried cheaper versions but don't hold up well. Money well spent only once unless I lose the freaking cord somewhere. Not a product issue human error with kids. Yes its fast

Superb Cable

I bought it to charge my son’s Oculus 2 because the charger it came with took hours to charge it. When I purchased the C to C cable now it only takes a hour to charge. If you need fast charging, I would suggest this cable.

Offers extra length over standard included cables

This cable offers 2+ feet of space between the Mini and the eGPU. It’s also an active cable, meaning you get all the bandwith available with the TB3 port (40gbps). Wish Apple offered it in black, however.
