I love apple but it is tough needing so many different cables and adapters. Luckily best buy had exactly what I needed and I was able to connect my mac screens!

works as advertised , and does not have any compatibility issues like some knock offs. A little pricey for what it is, but to saved years of data from and old computer and made quick work of it. So I could get back up and running/

Found a great Thunderbolt Display for a good price that I wanted to use as a second monitor for my 2017 iMac Retina 4K. The adapter allowed me to pair the Thunderbolt Display perfectly.

This adapter does what it says. I'm using it with my older 2012 mac mini. I allows me to connect my egpu (Thunderbolt 3) to my Thunderbolt Mac Mini. It enhances the Mac Mini.

I honestly have been looking for this because I wanted to charge my phone while I play music. Since I have an iPhone 8, it’s been easier to plug these in instead of having a million corded everywhere.

This is a must have for the 2016 and above MacBook. I have an older Apple Thunderbolt display that my MacBook stays connected to when I am at home. This is a must have accessory since Apple switched to all USB C plugs.

So far so good. You kind of can't not use these so is a review really necessary? It will do what you expect of it. It won't make you a sandwich or ice cream but if that's what you're looking for you're in the wrong aisle.

Although it is a small hassle to need an adapter / dongle, this is an obvious purchase. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone searching / needing such an adapter. I will also recommend they buy it from BestBuy! ;-)

Works with a thunderbolt 2 cable and allows when connected to do the desired job of working with a Thunderbolt 3 connection.

Unfortunately the GUYS at Best Buy could not help me, so good old UTUBE worked and they suggested I buy this to link my new Mac Book Pro to my Thunderbolt Display, and it works....

Got this so i can use my Thunderbolg 2 backup device. This little item does the trick and is much needed if you want to connect your older connection types via USB-C (thunderbolt 3) in the mac world.

I needed this to connect a 2012 model iMac with a 2020 iMac because the 2012 thunderbolt port and the 2020 thunderbolt port are different. In addition to this expensive adapter I had to but an expensive cable to connect the adapter to the 2012 iMac.

I didn't want to replace my existing cables after I upgraded my MacBook Pro so this adapter avoids having to do that. It's a one time purchase so I spent the extra money for a true Apple product.

I needed this to hook up my older iMac to the newer macBook I received from my employer. The adapter is working as expected.

Using this as part of connection needed to hook up old camcorder to new Mac. But Apple, why you gotta make such a tiny thing so expensive??

Best Buy is great with matching amazon prices and purchased with ease. Works perfectly so far no issues, and apple always has the one year warranty for all their products which is a plus.

Used it to attach an older Thunderbolt Monitor to a new MacBook Pro Thunderbolt 4 model. Works fine.

Functional and usual Apple build quality. Allows connection with older Thunderbolt devices. Buying a M1 Mac mini soon but will keep for my older Macs.
