Great Adapter for connecting Thunderbolt3 devices.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this adapter to connect my newer macbook pro that uses thunderbolt3 to my 27" thunderbolt display that has a thunderbolt2 output. This adapter works seamlessly to bridge that connect. As with all genuine Apple accessories, this works without any issues. I have had issues using third party adapters but apple accessories always work the best.

Great product, only 3 stars due to cost
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The adapter has worked flawlessly with one exception, I cannot connect the Apple Thunderbolt adapters to this adapter (i.e. Thunderbolt to DVI, Thunderbolt to Firewire800, and Thunderbolt to VGA adapters - did not work when connected to this adapter). That means you have to buy even more adapters. The cost of this adapter is very high! Works great to transfer data from older macs via Thunderbolt to the new Macs wit USB-C OR connect the Apple Display.

I am using it to connect a Focusrite Clarett 4Pre Thunderbolt audio interface to my new MacBook Pro M1. Unfortunately, Focusrite has not made my device compatible with the M1 chip yet so the Clarett 4Pre is not recognized by my MacBook yet. Focusrite says that are aware of the problem and are working on it.
