It works perfectly with my 27" thunderbolt screen! Only issue is that with slight movement of my MBP, it can disconnect easily. If you move your computer around a lot, this could be an issue.

Another adapter that I had was not compatible, so I had to use the actual Apple-style adapter. Works great and saved me from buying a new monitor.

Get superfast TB2 and Ethernet for your usb-c mac

With the new usb-c macs, this adapter adds ethernet support through my previous TB2 ethernet adapter as well as allows connecting displayport devices to usb-c. It has a multi-purpose use and highly recommended if you need to use wired internet and screen extensions.
