Apple finds another way to nickel and dime you

The worst part is that the thunderbolt display is exactly the same as the old displayport and so it's always a crap shoot when you buy the dongle.

Literally plug & play. Having the large monitor connected to my laptop has been life changing. So much better!

old to new

Luckily Best Buy had it in stock and didn't need to order online and wait!

Thunderbolt Relief

Then I got my new Macbook Pro. Fortunately the connector allows me to use my displays reliably. I just need to remember to take the connector along with me everyday

This WILL work if your device it Thunderbolt 2 over Mini displayport. Look for the thunderbolt icon on the device first.

It does what it should

It’s annoying to need an adaptor to something that’s only a couple years old but this does what it needs.
