    As annoying as it is to have introduced a format only to kill it a few years later, Thunderbolt IS a good connection. It’s annoying to need an adaptor to something that’s only a couple years old but this does what it needs.

    Thunderbolt 3 to Thundebolt 2...it’s impossible. It can’t happen. No way in Hades...unless you have this little miracle of modern technology. The miracle of birth is the only thing that compares, and that’s way messier.

    Works great and a must have for photography/video or anything needing the use of an SD card. I have several of those so this comes in handy. Would’ve preferred Apple put it in the computer but asking anything of Apple means less money for them.

    Had to get this adapter along with ethernet adapter to connect Ethernet to new Macbook. Works fine. Couldn’t fond one piece that would do the job.

    Bought this and a short thunderbolt cable for data transfer from old to new MacBook Pro. Bummer that you have to buy this and a separate cable to transfer user data via Migration Assistant but such is changing technology. It does work very well and transfer was reasonably fast.

    In true Apple fashion it just works. Didn’t want to go with a less expensive adapter. Got this open box and it feels like solid connector. I mean it’s not plasticky it’s solid.

    When going from a standard MacBook Pro to the new MacBook Pro you need to have some adapters for the US BC. This adapter meets all your needs. I would highly recommend buying this with the purchase of the new Macbook pro.

    It helped me extend the life of my 2013 iMac by allowing me to use it as a large monitor for my 2018 MacBook. For a small price, I avoided having to buy a new monitor.
