Don't trust open-box description

It arrived in it's original packaging, but the box was completely destroyed and covered in sticky residue with dirt and dust all over it. The actual adapter wasn't in much better condition. It was also sticky to the touch as if someone spilled soda on it. The cable was yellowed with age and the contacts on the adapter had debris on them. I was too scared to plug it into my MacBook Pro, so I don't know if it worked or not. I would recommend you either buy it new or not at all. I wouldn't trust Best Buy's claims for open-box items online. If you cannot see before you purchase DO NOT buy.
