Works strange

You have to remove the thunderbolt 2 cable and reattach to get devices to be recognized. So be prepared to keep reattaching your thunderbolt 2 cable over and over whenever you want to use this adapter.

incompatibility issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i purchased this adapter so that i could backup an old iMac onto a brand new iMac. i tried backing up over the air (wifi network); however, due to storage size and connectivity - it would have taken over a day to do so. instead, i read online that i could buy this adapter to connect two iMacs together. when i purchased and brought home - i had issues with my older device recognizing this connection and it wouldn't connect properly.

Dongles because Apple always changes stuff
