Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter's compatibility, overall performance, and ability to convert Thunderbolt 2 to USB-C as major advantages. Many appreciate its ease of use, connectivity, and speed. However, some customers find the price to be a drawback, and a few have concerns about its size and cable length.

I bought this for my son and he tells me it exactly what he has been looking for. It was a great price at Best Buy

Good adapter but really wish this was a slimmer profile, if using a desktop it droops because the bottom tb2 portion has weight to it. Not good for the ports.

Does not work with mini display. Had to return it. The lightning bolt symbol is confusing. Best Buy has a better priced home branded dongle that does work for half the price.

Note that some TB2 devices may not be compatible, especially thru a daisy chain. Google to see if others have reported incompatibility issues.

It's a cable. All these freakin' adapters for Apple products are starting to drive me more than a little crazy. Just stick with the industry standard already.

The thunderbolt worked perfectly for 1 year and 3 weeks. Since it was out of warranty, I had no choice but to purchase another for my laptop. So far so good, 2 months and counting!

I'm sure this works just fine but I was trying to connect an older Cinema Display (30" DVI Displayport Model) to my new MBP and it did not work for this.

It'd be great if this guy worked with Thunderbolt 3 enabled PC's as well, but if you need one of these for your Mac, it's about as good as you can ask for.
