A adapter I needed to connect to my thunderbolt display monitor.

These dongles come in handy now that Apple has abandoned traditional ports.

Works off and on with my new MacBook Pro and the Thunderbolt 2 hub I have.

Thunderbolt worked great with my iMac and MacBook as soon as it was connected, no issues

Hate spending on all the dongles these says but need them

I was very surprised that this expensive Apple product will not recognize a Samsung 3tb SSD I had attached to my MacBook Pro. After researching this on the web, I noted similar complaints. There is a non-Apple adapter that will work.

I got a new MacBook Pro at work, IT didn't realize it only has USB-C ports, everything in the literature indicates this adapter should work, when the first one didn't I spent an hour on the phone with apple and ultimately they said that it should work with my thunderbolt monitor because it has an independent power supply -- so I returned and tried 2 more in case one was faulty and because they insisted it should work - none worked. hours on support, hours in Apple Store lugging the monitor with me and they said they couldn't explain it but it DOES NOT WORK. if you're buying for an apple thunderbolt monitor, good luck, didn't work for me.

Does not support USB C 3.2. I purchased this item to connect my Apple Pro Thunderbolt 2 port to a USB C 3.2 SSD to gain the advantage of the Thunderbolt 2 speed. The physical USB C connector fits my Samsung USB C 3.2 SSD, but SSD is not recognized. I can connect the SSD to a USB A 3.0 port on the Apple Mac Pro at the slower USB 3.0 speed using a USB A to USB C adapter cable.

Needed it for a Mac display. The price is ridiculous. Apple you are a pain in my butt.

Works well as intended, very helpful for converting home videos to newer devices.

This adapter does not work in all instances of Thunderbolt 3 to 2. Check with Apple before you use it. You may be disappointed in its flexibility.

I bought this adapter for thunderbolt monitor and did not work at all, got hotter some reason, computer recognized but never had image in the display. So I return it

This adapter did not seem to work properly when connecting a new Mac Mini to our older iMac. Apple tech rep on service call even told me to try another brand cable.

If you need a T-3 cable, get it. You will pay more for Apple as a brand, but you already know this.

Bought this to hook my iPad pro to my TV... Didn't work... iPad Pro doesn't support thunderbolt. Best buy refunded without question

I was just trying to add a 2nd monitor to my Imac but this cable wouldnt recognize the screen.

This product is ok. Apple is known for some adapters to no work out of the box. I had to return the first one and get a new one.

Helpful item to pass all my information to an updated device.

Was advised to order/purchase this, since it wasn't in-stock at the store. But this did NOT work for me, since I don't have a cable to use with this adapter. So, once again, low rating is more due to the people involved than to the product itself, since I am still unable to use/test the product!

Happy with it. Totally works as promised, no surprises.
