Purchase mistake

The thunderbolt is a bulky male end that did not work on my 2019 MacBook Pro.

Essential for New MacBook Owners

MacBooks no longer have USB ports so you'll need these adapters to connect your phone or external hardrive.

This item is expensive for what it is, but it allowed be to run with jumbo frames at gigabit speeds.

Absolutely Necessary Accessory

It is the only way to use a thumbdrive with this laptop. It is a little floppy having this adaptor hanging off your laptop but it does the trick. If I were to get another one, I would buy one with 2 ports so that I can charge my computer at the same time I am using a thumbdrive.
