Does everything is supposed to. Occasionally I’ll have to wiggle the cable if the connection becomes unstable but I am unsure if this is the adapter or the cable or watt. Usually it’s not a big issue.

one word is "useful" great quality great value too

Some hotels still don't have very good WiFi so this is necessary where the WiFi starts to slow down with too many people. Plus it made the data transfer from my old computer to my Pro much faster.

Excellent piece however wish it was just apart of my computer one downfall Apple has done with their simplicity route!

If you have the newest laptop, you need a thunderbolt 3. Got the wrong item but it looked sturdy. Had to return for the right one

It works ok, if you wiggle the laptop around it loses connectivity for a few seconds. I would give it 5 stars if it wasnt so overpriced. I would probably go with a generic dongle next time. It's not 100% perfect so not worth the apple premium.

If you need to connect your MacBook Pro directly to the internet via an Ethernet cable this is the correct solution. Like almost all of Apple's products - very well made.

Couldn't be happier, plugged right in and was connecting in seconds. Simple and inexpensive way to make up for all the reductions Mac is doing to there laptops.

Sometimes these connectors wear at the connection points because they are flexed daily, and the conduit weakens. Not these connectors. Pretty solid.

Was very hard to connect to my MacBook Air when needed. Showed up as a weird bridge but wouldn’t allow me to connect to the internet. Finally was able to after numerous attempts. Worked great after.

This is so helpful if you want to connect directly to your router/modem using an Apple laptop

This little dongle is super useful. Definitely worth a few bucks.

Allowed us to attache an ethernet cord directly into the mac laptop to reduce latency for the teaching of music lessons.

Needed for my daughter in college as they don't allow seeing up your own wifi router and wifi is totally unsafe there. Wish it was cheaper as I had no time to shop around to see what were compatible options.

Hard to believe all the adapters needed to make your Mac Book work with any accessory!

If you’re going for an accessory or “dongles,” go for the Apple branded goods to avoid being disappointed, either out the box or shortly thereafter.

Bought this and then returned due to price and limitation. Just better to get a multi-port device for newer Apple products - since they have taken away all ports.
