Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i loved this.. gave a good felling when i used it, knowing that it no one could steal info off wifi if i was using it.... however i dropped computer with it plugged in and it bent the connector... it was then no longer usable... truly not the fault of the thunderbolt.. but so disappointed when i could not use it any more

This works as designed.. just plug it into your macbook, plug into your switch or router, and you're on the network at full speed. No driver installation is required, and it leaves your USB ports free. If you're using your Thunderbolt ports for some other purpose such as video, you probably don't want this dongle.
