Not Worth It
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A little too pricy for just a simple dongle. Now that other 3rd party brands have better dongles that offer more than just an ethernet port, go with them. Also, this is for the older plugins, not the new laptops

Must have accessory if you have a new MacBook

simple to use

Product shipped fast but won't work on my Thunderbolt connection. Nothing on the package, description, nor instructions explain whether this is Windows 8.0 compatible. I am at a small camp in Afghanistan and can not get to a post office to try to return this item . Will probably just have to eat it unless I find someone with a MAC System. I am sure it is a very good item for systems which are compatible.

Get the Insignia USB 3 adapter instead

Short,stubby, stiff cable makes it likely the adapter will come lose from the thunderbolt port. The Best Buy house brand "Insignia" USB 3.0 to gigabit Ethernet adapter is less expensive, works just as well, and has a longer more flexible cable.
