Get the Insignia USB 3 adapter instead

Short,stubby, stiff cable makes it likely the adapter will come lose from the thunderbolt port. The Best Buy house brand "Insignia" USB 3.0 to gigabit Ethernet adapter is less expensive, works just as well, and has a longer more flexible cable.

Not Worth It

Now that other 3rd party brands have better dongles that offer more than just an ethernet port, go with them. Also, this is for the older plugins, not the new laptops

the downside of a thinner laptop
