Yet another $20-30 dongle for my MacBook, that most of the time will sit in my drawer, but when I need a wired network connection (and I do on occasion when I'm configuring/testing networking gear), this works perfectly. I tried several other USB/Ethernet adapters that I had on hand, and none of them worked as others on the web suggested they might. And the one thing you get on this that you won't on most USB adapters is true Gig speeds.

Works just as advertised; very easy setup and has made life easier when Wifi is not available.

This was purchased because I needed to do a Skype interview for a Food Network show and my router has been spotty. I have 2 routers and both can be unreliable so a wired connection to my Macbook Air was necessary. I was really excited to find that an adapter existed to make this possible and the interview went on without a hitch. Money well spent.

It just works - connected to Macbook Pro and have immediate connection without any configuration.

I work on a photo and video crew and they use all windows computers. I use my MacBook Pro to edit images and connect to the internet. I needed the Apple - Thunderbolt-to-Gigabit Ethernet Adapter so I could connect with the rest of the system since my MBP has no ethernet port. It works great and feels solid. The connections are not sloppy or loose like an off brand I had tried earlier. I get excellent transfer speed and no lost connections.

I should I've picked this up years ago! Works flawlessly with the newest version of OS. I have it plugged into my MacBook Pro when I work at my desk. All wireless connections (I.e. wireless printer) functions properly while this in use . I'm able to get the fastest internet speed constantly. Don't bother with the aftermarket USB Ethernet adapters, they don't work as well as this one.

The Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter helped me pretty much as I have not been too happy with earlier product I bought elsewhere. I would recommend this product to any one who would want to move from USB based to Thunderbolt based network connectivity for their Mac

we went to the GWLodge and they have a wifi splash screen one must reach before accessing the free internet. Solution: Load the page on your Macbook then share internet using a cat 5 Now your kids can enjoy XBOX ONE on the provided room tv using the HDMI cable. Listen all parts to get this done are sold at BBY and are priceless for usage of consoles that require high speed for game play.

For those times when WiFi is not available, this Ethernet adapter works like a charm.
