If you user your laptop in closed clamshell mode, then you want the speed of a desktop solution. Unfortunately wifi is less then an ideal solution in this scenario, and with no ports Apple isn't doing you any favors. Thankfully there is this adapter, it is a blessing.

The adapter is perfect to solve the problem of no network port on the MacBook Pro. Typical great Apple styling and performance. Typical Apple pricing but not a deal breaker. It's reassuring to know that it's made by the same company ensuring that it will work as expected.

It works. Hooked my M1 MacBook air up to the web when I was setting it up.

Cheap insurance to keep in a laptop bag for when WiFi is slow and you have access to wired Ethernet. I have two larger multipurpose ports but I end up using the small single purpose adapters (USB, network, HDMI).

Works well, but it’s so expensive since it was the Apple version, which I guess they work the best. Used it with my old 2013 MacBook Pro that I gave to my sister. It’s nice to have it for a direct connection to the internet for faster uploads.

Everybody knows that when you are buying an Apple product, it is well-made, practical, stylish, and very durable. This product is no exception to that. Amazing, works as intended, and I couldn't be happier playing online gams at a high speed or having a reliable fast connection.

With Apple, you always need something additional to make it play nice with your other technologies. But, it works great. Did what I needed.

Its what we all know it is. A reliable product for our apple devices. Don't bother with cheap alternatives. Buy the manufacturer products. You get what you pay for.

Recently traveled to Afghanistan and the only internet service was via ethernet port. With my new Mac Book there was no port for this....this adapter ensured I did not have a looooog boring trip! Worked flawlessly!!

The cable is a necessary accessory if you intent to plug in an eathernet cable. Does what it is suposed to for those that need it. Many will not need it unless you need to physically plug in, cannot fault Apple for removing the port because many will not need it.

Straight up plug and play. I got it off the open box which saved a couple of bucks. Apple products just work so I was scared off a third-party. It doesn’t disappoint and it does speed up my Internet speed

Essentially for working at home, nothing beats a hardwired connection. If you’ve got a Mac, be safe and go with the name branded adaptor. Works perfectly and I’m pulling near 1 Gig on my laptop.

Purchased in combo with Thunderbolt adapter in order to connect ethernet cable. Only wish I could have found a single device to do the job for my Macbook Pro

This works great. Haven't had any issues with it. Much faster than the USB adapter. Make sure you are using at least Cat 5e cables and a gigabit router or you won't see the speeds.

Pretty simple on this review. It's meant to be an adaptor for an ethernet cord and it's exactly that. Worked great with my MacBook Pro. No connection issues & solved a major issue that I was having. Solid product.

I purchased these Ethernet adapters for my business. If you need to have a wired Internet connection for your MacBook laptops, this is the only adapter you need. Don't buy 3rd party Ethernet adapters as they require driver installs. These work out of the box.
