I use this in my home office to gain faster internet connections when I don't need to be wireless.

The Apple Thunderbolt to Ethernet Adapter works as advertised. I used it to plug the ethernet cable into a 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display. It hooked up to the internet immediately and I've had no problems. I'm not sure why the new MacBooks don't have ethernet ports, but I still like them anyway. This is any easy fix for when I need to use an ethernet instead of Wireless Internet.

This ethernet adapter is the perfect accessory for my MacBook Air.

The Apple Thunderbolt Gigabit Ethernet adapter is great for the Apple devices with the thunderbolt ports. I like that the adapter provides a physically stable connection to the Apple device and to the cable. The network traffic speed provided to the Apple device is great as well. An essential accessory for Apple users.

It’s a cable. It’s from Apple. It works great. Please stop pestering your customers to review innocuous items.

This works exactly as described for when I need a wired connection. One caveat to note that isn't really related to the product is it's use when running Windows. The adapter must be plugged in prior to booting into Windows or it doesn't work.

This adapter works fine but I wish I didn't have to buy it. It would have been nicer to just have a port built into the laptop rather than having to remember to carry around yet another adapter for my Mac laptop for those rare occasions when I want to (or have to) use an Ethernet cable. In many cases, it may be more convenient to carry around a portable WiFi hostpot/range extender.
