Wish I didn't have to buy an adapter for Ethernet

It would have been nicer to just have a port built into the laptop rather than having to remember to carry around yet another adapter for my Mac laptop for those rare occasions when I want to (or have to) use an Ethernet cable. In many cases, it may be more convenient to carry around a portable WiFi hostpot/range extender.

Experiencing difficulties

Getting my latest macbook pro to recognize ethernet connection is a cumbersome process. I have to keep readjusting / plugging-in/out to ensure ethernet is detected. I know my ethernet cable is in good condition. I thought getting an apple product is the safest bet but I am disappointed with this purchase.

Not very impressed. Slow to connect.

It was very slow to connect and I did not get any better connection being hard wired to the router than being connected wirelessly. I would only use this if there is no wireless available.

I feel duped that the shape wasn't clearly noted in the product description
