    This was purchased for a laptop at work. It did not work on my computer, so I tested it with other computers in case there was simply an issue with my connection. It did not work on any computers tested. I'd seen awful reviews on the apple website but decided to ignore them because of how great the reviews were on here. Big mistake.

    After looking at reviews and based on Apple Store recommendations to use for migration of data from my old computer, I purchased it. The connection doesn't fit the new Macbook Pro.

    It worked great for a month and then broke. I tried it on multiple laptops to make sure. Completely broken.
