As it turned out, this connection to my cat5 Eternet cable showed no loss of speed. My backup to an external drive took almost exactly the same time as the direct connection to an external drive in a T3 case.

Went with the Apple brand which is highly recommended. Internet speeds are faster than wireless connection which is a fact. Also more secure connection. Great buy at Best Buy!

I did a pick up order and initially they couldn’t find it even though I received an email saying it was ready to pick up. The staff tore apart the back room to find it for me as I really needed it for work the next morning. They were super understanding
