Love my Apple Ethernet Adapter! Fits perfect on my MacBook Pro! Sure does come in handy when I need to trouble shoot my modem when it's acting up! This accessory is worth buying. Or if you just want to hard wire your MacBook Pro instead of using the wifi!

It's an adapter that gives me an Ethernet port (Gigabit, no less) on my very thin Retina MacBook Pro, using the Thunderbolt port. It does what it says it does, and it works with no effort on my part. Other than not being included with the MacBook itself, I have no complaints.

I bought this to be able to hardwire my ethernet to my new 2014 Macbook Pro w/Retina. I was bummed that the computer after costing over 3K did not come with this cable (it should have for the money spent) but I purchased it in case I would need to hardwire for some reason.

I needed this for a job I was at so that my macbook could hardwire in to my wireless router. It did what it said t would, still have it to this day.

I thought it might not work when I got it because it was returned to the store and it was in an open box. But it works well and I use it every time I need to use an ethernet cable.

This adapter is great! I had to connect my daughter’s MacBook Air to the Ethernet so she could complete her online classes. This worked out perfectly

WiFi is convenient and all, but its bandwidth can't compare to wired. I had all kinds of lag issues with teleconferencing from home, so I bought the adapter and connected my MBP to my router. Instant crystal-clear multiperson teleconferencing.

Works perfect, lousy price. I hate apple for this.

We were in LA for 3 weeks on business The WiFi at our AirBnB was really bad but with the help of this adapter we were able to connect directly with an ethernet cable to the router-modem and get online. It did what it's supposed to do.

This adapter has been in daily use since I bought it a year ago to play DotA 2 on my Macbook Pro. It has given me a seamless internet connection and hasn't malfunctioned since I bought it. Good and trustworthy product.

our late 2015 iMac's ethernet port quit, so I got this and.... IT WORKS GREAT !!!! Pricey, but it is Apple quality so I'm not complaining !!

Works great, exactly what we needed to save on our wireless hotspot! My daughter was killing our data to do her school work. She is now able to plug in and get her school work done with no service interruption's.

Must have adapter for new MacBook Pro that only has four USB - C /Lightning three connector for that extra speed when you are able to plug your computer into a hardwired outlet, which is always faster than Wi-Fi.

I used this as a server link to a common hard drive system. We had to upload footage onto a local LAN network. My Ethernet to Thunderbolt 2.0 was much too slow (We were transferring 1 TB of footage daily). This really helped speed up the process).

The ethernet adapter works great and really speeds up the internet at home with no disruptions to the connectivity. I bought an open box item, saved some money, works perfectly and still has the warranty...it was a no brainer for me.

Many apple laptops no longer have the ethernet port in them, but you still need to use ethernet! This handy adaptor is all you need to use your thunderbolt port to connect to an ethernet cable -- and make your apple laptop even faster!

Not much to mention about this, honestly. It works well with my 2014 MacBook Air and I needed it to set up my WiFi at home. Just as all other kinds of Apple branded peripherals, it match them well with asthetics.

Allowed MacMini to connect to second Ethernet network without a hitch. I have heard some people have had problems getting their computer to go to sleep with one of these connected. I use my MacMini as a headless server so this is not an issue for me.
