This adapter is a must have for MacBook users that don’t have an Ethernet port. Since the newer models don’t have the Ethernet port installed, this adapter works great for getting a wired connection. Sometimes you need the reliability of a hardwired connection and this adapter is perfect for that. Kinda pricey in my opinion but would recommend.

I previously purchased a USB to Ethernet cord but no matter what I did it just would not work. Even after installing the proper driver. Thankfully there’s no need with this one...it’s everything plug and play should be! Couldn’t recommend it more! Spend the few extra bucks and go with it! You won’t be disappointed!

Don’t try anything else...If you have a Mac book air don’t try any other adapter. I had to learn the hard way one of the store representatives gave me a logic adapter and said it would work perfect for my MacBook Air. I had to exchange it for the thunderbolt because the logitech never worked.

I purchased this as an open-box item. The item was in perfect condition. I use this on my MacBook Pro Retina and it works flawlessly. This comes as no surprise since It's an Apple accessory being used with an Apple product. There are 3rd party thunderbolt-to-gigabit adapters that are a little less expensive but I don't have time to troubleshoot if I had problems.

This thunderbolt to ethernet adapter works as expected. My wireless network was having problems for awhile, but luckily I had this adapter to hardwire an ethernet cable to my computer straight from my modem. Because of this adapter, I was still able to use my internet despite having wireless problems!

This Apple-manufactured adapter is well constructed and functions to spec, achieving 900 Mbps in my tests. I'm an engineer that specializes in product tear down and cost analysis. The price is fair given the complexities try of the circuitry involved in this active-electronics device. I will never give any cable or accessory five stars unless it is alsso fairly priced.

A good alternative to wifi. Works great and speed is now never an issue.
