This adapter from apple is great. It works just as it is supposed to. I have 2 of these now for 2 MacBook Pro Retinas. Never once had any issues worth every penny.

Good adapter. Had to purchase it along with another adapter in order to connect our Mac using an ethernet cable.

Well this thing works like a charm. Plug it right in and then plug your ethernet cable to it. And bam your connected. No special configuration needed at all. It just works. I like it.

Visited Best Buy in hopes to find an ethernet port for internet speed purposes. This product is perfect and serves its purpose for faster internet. I would definitely recommend this product, great quality and great price!

It is nice when a product just works and this product works well. I use it with my MacBook Pro and all I had to do was plug it in. No configuration steps or any installation wizard required.

I was using a USB to Cat5 adapter and was getting about 60 mbps. After changing to this adapter, I can get more than 300 mbps. I had no idea this adapter would make so much difference, but it did.

Bought this adapter to hook up directly to the router to see how much speed I would gain on my MacBook Air and was totally surprised by the gain,works great

This adapter does what it supposed to. It is intriguing how Apple makes things accessible but also makes it necessary to buy a lot of peripherals that cost a lot of money

After buying knock-off branded accessories from Amazon and been burned multiple times with cheap imitations, do yourself a favor and get the right adapter for the job. Always works and great to have in the bag.

This Ethernet adapter works great on my MacBook Pro. It does exactly what it should, and is much preferred to WiFi for transfer speeds. With it being Thunderbolt I feel confident that the speeds won't bottleneck due to hardware issues.

I purchased this item to allow Ethernet connectivity from a newer MacBook Pro that does not contain a specific Ethernet port. It easily allowed full network access to resources such as printers, other Mac's & 2 TV's.

Works great with a mid 2015 Mac book pro. It connects to the thunderbolt port.

There are many choices but the Apple gigabit lightning adapter for the Mac trumps them all. 100% compatible and works right out of the box with macOS Sierra. It has the best throughput compared to others I've used.

My house has aluminum sheeting in the walls so my router has difficulty sending a strong signal to all rooms. Being able to connect with an ethernet cord was necessary. Can't do it to a Mac Book without this connector.

If you're willing too spend the money on it, you're going to be satisfied. It does what it's suppose to and it's constructed well. But I believe that the margin on it (the difference of the total cost to produce it and what the manufacturer and retailer ultimately charge the customer) is too high. Lower the price by 10-15% and it gets a fifth star.

Originally bought this to help transfer data through a Ethernet cable, works great!
